Sneak Peek - Festival of Trees

Sorry for the delay in postings. My camera was having issues, but it is finally fixed and I have  a LOT of posts to catch up on! Today's edition is a sneak peek at the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set that will be available for ordering on the 28th - just a few short days away! Hooray!

I love this set. It comes with a great selection of trees and adorning accessories for stamping AND there is even a matching punch to make life easier! How great is that? The layout for this card is from last Wednesday's Splitcoast Stampers' Sketch Challenge SC502.  I enjoyed working with this fun sketch.

I have been playing with sponged backgrounds lately and knew I wanted to do that on the image panel for this card. I also knew I wanted a very dimensional tree as the focal point. So I sponged the background with So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie inks onto Whisper White cardstock and stamped the two pine trees in Garden Green.  For the dimensional tree, I stamped several copies of the decorated tree in Garden Green onto Whisper White and then punched them out, glued them together and adhered them to the panel.

The DSP is from last year's Snow Festival DSP which is still available as a digital download. The embossing folder is called "On Point" and is from the new holiday catalog.

Inside, I simply stamped a sentiment from the Beauty of the Season set in Memento Tuxedo Black.

A full list of the products used is below. Hope you enjoyed today's sneak peek at another of the great set od products that will be available for order later this week!
